The fastest Volkswagen Golf will compete tomorrow at the Nurburgring Nordschleife, the legendary 24-hour race. The spectacular Golf24 is specially prepared to take in the race – 23 June – 26 June 2011. Suitable for the 35th Anniversary of the Golf GTI, Volkswagen Motorsport has developed a thorough bred racing version of the world’s largest volume car production.

It is powered by a 2.5-liter five-cylinder turbo engine with 440HP (324 kW) and torque of 540nm operated. It has least-wheel drive, 6-speed gearbox with sequential paddle shifters and, last but not an impressive body.
