GRMN SPORTS HYBRID Concept II, which is a mid-engine convertible gasoline-electric hybrid concept – Toyota has introduced an interesting vehicle. The concept will be held on 39th Nurburgring 24-hour race this weekend.

This is an updated version of a gasoline-electric Sports Concept at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2010 showed. The powertrain includes petrol, rear-wheel drive engine and transmission.

Toyota launched the world’s first mass-produced gasoline-electric car, the Prius in 1997 and has long been active research on the use of hybrid technologies for racing and sports cars have been. The GRMN SPORTS HYBRID Concept II is the next step in the evolution of these efforts.
