The new CLS 63 AMG was officially unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The car is easily accessible from the standard CLS and features a new hood, revised bumpers, a revised grille and unique front fenders changed. It also has an aggressive rear diffuser, a four-exhaust system, LED daytime running lights and 19 “five-spoke alloy wheels.The interior features walnut wood, but it is an option for piano black and carbon fiber trim, AMG sports seats and a three-spoke steering wheel with aluminum shift paddles for the gearbox.

2012 CLS 63 AMG 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 with 525PS (386 kW) and 699Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. The engine is mated with a 7-speed MCT transmission shift speed. The car accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds and top speed is electronically governed to 250 kph (155 mph) limit.There is also an optional AMG Performance package, which increases the engine, the massive 558PS (410 kW) and 799Nm (590 lb-ft). The acceleration is slightly better – 4.3 seconds to 60 mph and top speed is 299 kmh (186 mph).The adaptive suspension AMG has three settings – Comfort, Sport and Sport +. The package also includes a broader front, a revised electro-hydraulic steering and high-performance cross-drilled brakes.
