The new CLS was officially unveiled at the Paris Motor Show. The car looks quite different than the predecessor model and according to our opinion, it is much uglier. The old Mercedes CLS had his own style, which is lost with the new.
2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS features flared wheel arches, a sloping roofline and optional LED headlights. The interior features leather seats, wood trim and aluminum accents. Nothing special, and that’s what let us down.
The engine range is pretty plain – CLS 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY with 265PS and 306PS CLS 350 BlueEFFICIENCY. After the launch of the new CLS an update that 204HP CLS 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY is covering. The second update is the CLS 500 BlueEFFICIENCY with 408HP function.
